Yep, trash the world weather report, and while you're at it, get rid of the general news segments. Nothing against Alina Cho or Darby Mullany, but if I wanna know what's going on in the non-financial world, I can switch over to Headline News. The airtime saved could be used to profile more stocks. Kudos to the producers for bringing Tom Costello and Sydney Kohara to host the early a.m. show. Super improvement. Just seems like the show is more informative since they came onboard. I always stayed tuned into CNNfn until 7 a.m. when Squawk comes on, but with Costello and Kohara (sp?), I find myself watching CNBC more in the early hours. On a final note, I cannot wait for Kernan to come back from vacation. Squawk is not the same without him. He knows his stuff, his commentary is insightful (especially his biotech knowledge) and he is funny as hell to boot. I still laugh about the time Faber was showing a chart of some company whose stock had plummeted from $25 to $2 and then flatlined. Kernan looks at the chart and says, "I think those guys need a website."
