RPP: I have to wait and see what happens tomorrow Brian. I would have expected the stock to start moving pending the results, but there was a large shareholder dumping at the same time. There usually is an appreciation in stock price before results are released, so I didn't buy at all.

As for when to take profit, I'll let you decide that one. There are never enough profits, but at some point you have to take them. As the saying goes, you never go broke ringing the "ole" cash register. See what happens tomorrow and decide.

Regards, Wisam

Bridges Initiatives, Inc. Announces Corporate Name Change
Move to Bridges.com speaks to the Company's
core competencies in online career services
May 14, 1999

Bridges.com is pleased to announce that it has changed its corporate name from The Bridges Initiatives, Inc. to Bridges.com.

"Bridges.com more accurately reflects the nature of our business," says Doug Manning, CEO. "Bridges.com is an Internet publisher, and we hope the new name will assist schools to more quickly gain an understanding of our products, and our corporate attributes."

"We've developed the bridge reference for two reasons," adds Mr. Manning. "Bridges highlights the connecting nature of career development. It also reflects how we try to do business - by bringing education and business together in order to assist young people to make informed career and life transitions."

A special resolution was passed in support of the name change at Bridges.com's Annual and Special Meeting on April 7, 1999. A two-thirds majority was required to implement the change. The name change does not affect Bridges.com's trading symbol: BIT.

Bridges.com specializes in continuous and customized publishing on the Internet. Its primary focus is services and products for the career development industry. Over 3,400 North American schools subscribe to Bridges.com's online resources. More than 1,600,000 students have access to Bridges.com career services.

Bridges.com is a publicly traded company on The Alberta Stock Exchange (BIT). It's one of a small percentage of technology-based companies making a profit through the Internet.

IMO you may be able to pick up this stick for $ 5.00 or less for a quick trip to $ 10.00.

Just imagine where it could go if it traded like the US internuts!

Yours truly,
