Shareholder lawsuits are mostly a complete waste of time and money...unless you're the law firm handling the action. Merrill is bulletproof on this, so it's not worth pursuing; that's why they issue prospectuses with "risk factors" plainly delineated. All involved must hope that Iridium can pull the "cat from the hat" soon, or Wall Street will destroy the value of its officers' retirement plan. The clock is ticking...

I hate to sound apocalyptic, but I warned late last year that if Iridium did not deliver in the quarterly report that an Inquistion would ensue. It's time for all interested parties to hold the company's feet to the fire. Even assuming a large corporate order for 10,000 phones, that's only 13,000 subscribers (3,000 current plus 10,000 new) - not enough to meet the 500,000 projected.

Investor Relations for Iridium...and for Globalstar...is there for the shareholders. Call them and demand answers...it's your right.

I still absolutely believe in Iridium's technology and in the fact that as the first - and only - truly global handheld satellite telephony system they have an opportunity to capture a huge market of users, both individual and institutional. But technical achievement cannot alone support a weak marketing effort. A large sale in the next 30 days would be welcome, but 3 or 4 would be much better!
