The main thrust of his testimony was to lay down the gauntlet over SS funds going into the stock market. He has a history of preferring to see SS go into the debt markets. GST- On that topic, why would he (and others) be averse to individuals directing some fraction of their SS money? I think he pointed out that privately directed investments provide the best-targeted distribution of capital. He should support some form of self-directed SS, shouldn't he? Randy
