OT--- I have owned CMGI (Net mutual fund/Incubator) since 40, stopped trading at 125 (pre split)This one owns 29% of GeoCities, and now, after today, 2% of Yahoo. This is to hold!

t2, agree with your every post. re the judge, yeah, he must sense that appeals court would overturn a nasty penalty (i give him credit for that much) fact is so much (press calls it "the landscape") has changed since trial began that even the judge must be thinking differently now. bet that even doj is concerned re mounting changes ie aol/nscp, linux, lu, and newfound legitimacy for net "blue chips" like aol amzn(?)

2nd topic- suggest /agree(?) that aol now in same relative risk parameter with msft, csco, dell. it will outperform. problem for me is tough to teach me new tricks. comfortable with 18% ytd return with msft, intc, dell still, tempted by aol, lcos

I might add it or Xoom, Infoseek, Globe etc
I am tempted to go the Amazon, EBay, Yahoo, route, but I haven't wanted to take the risk. AOL works just about as well, without as much risk.
