Joseph,

Lind-Waldock is rolling out a beta-version of its new on line trading platform, and asking for testers.
L-W is a good firm, but its last on line trading package was useless. Maybe the new one will be better.

Joe, I'm not a futures trader. But, what I can suggest is trying futuresmag.com

Perhaps you can find something at that site. You might want to ask some popular S&P Futures "newsletter" services like Watler Bressert walterbressert.com

I think Bressert has his own platform that he may use. I'd send them an email asking them to compare their services with the "nearest compeititon." Its a shrewd way of finding out who else is out there :) Best of luck.

Regards,
SH

I use an introducing broker that provides electronic access with LFG's Leoweb software for trading the mini and the large contract. The mini is traded into Globex, much like an ECN in concept and these executions with confirmations are very fast, from 3-10 seconds.

The large contract can be somewhat longer for confirms but is still faster for me then calling in orders. The software can be defaulted for any contract in any of the other markets as well, bonds, DOW, etc etc. I have been trading the S&P online for more then a year and after using several platforms and brokers, have found this the most powerful.

I too use a R/T program with A B Watley for equities and options and get much of my data for my S&P trading through that program.

My broker is John Marc and is with this firm in CA, here is their website tradecenterinc.com

I would note, this is an order entry software application that is not through a browser.

Good luck!
