rick, man, i am astounded. four isp's. i'm sure you have had you lines tested for noise, right? i called the phone company, and they ran a remote test, called me back and said there was no noise. i said, just a second, could you please talk louder, THE RADIO STATION PLAYING ON THE PHONE LINE IS DROWNING YOU OUT!! ;) but i got a technician to come out and he found a lot wrong, and fixed us up good. that, btw, is on my other puter, not my trading pc with cable modem. rick, i know you've come to this conclusion on your own, but jeez, you have to go with cable modem or isdn if it's available. should fix you right up.
