Check this out:
I am an account holder with Discover. I made only one trade with them last year and lost $10K on it and received minimal dividend last year. That's it.
Then I find out that Discover has taken $16K of my money and paid it
to IRS! I asked them why after being on hold for 1/2 hour, they said
they'll call me in 3 biz days. It has been 7 biz days since I called
and no one has gotten back to me yet! Their customer support sucks!
I am thinking about switching to E-Trade.

One of the Discover people told me to check View Activity rather than View Orders, and sure enough I have found the trade posted at Activity before it was posted at Orders.

I don't believe View Activity shows you at what price you traded, does it? If not, then it's kinda useless. I lost $1800 the other day cuz Discover couldn't get me my confirmation until about 25 mins. after I entered it on the web. They suck, bigtime.

Discover's online has been down most of the day, today.

My friend has Fidelity - he never has any problems. Guess I'll transfer my accounts there.

Regards,
Bill
