To all the long term (and long time)Ampex investors: I have been a long time lurker (going back to the days of James Zehr, Gus, LJD, Wayne, Dragonfly, Swamp Fox, and many more). I finally became a "made" (translated "paid") member of SI. If I had joined much earlier, perhaps I would have been able to contribute some useful information. However, better late than never. I am heavily invested in Ampex for the long term (no trader activities for me). I have purchased shares ranging in price from $12.00/sh to about $1.00/sh, with many recent purchases to drive down my average cost per share. I cannot end this message without thanking all of you who have contributed so usefully over the years. Thank you DrD
