Larry, the short position in VLNC has increased another 20% in the last month by 200,000 shares to 1.250,000 shares. What do you make of this? Prog, unfortunately has only some 6000 shares short, I wish we had few hundred shares short there to put some fire in the rallies (VBG).

Hi all, Investor 20, who has had credible sources so far, has posted on Yahoo that the Vice Chairman of Ulbi has resigned along with a caboodle of other brass. Sounds like the company is coming apart. BTW, Investor says that the resignations(ahem)were not required to be announced since the individuals were not under contract.

Mr. Brubaker - Re.: "...while VLNC is not is incorrect. While
neither company has the capital resources to compete with the Japanese, ..."

Probably you meant that my suggestion about VLNC is not correct. That is fine. I was using the Barrons' article as the basis for my comments on both VLNC and ULBI. If any American company can win this game, that will be good for the stockholders of those companies. Ram
