Andreas,

You are not the bad guy but you ARE overly pessimistic. As I explained earlier they state that they do not anticipate "SIGNIFICANT" shipments.

We need to define SIGNIFICANT before rushing to judgement.

SIGNIFICANT does not mean NO shipments.

Is 4 million in international shipments considered SIGNIFICANT if that is what Vivus does in Q1 1999? Doesn't seem very SIGNIFICANT compared to the $14+ million seen in Q3 1998.

Also, if the so called pipeline has been "stuffed" after the $14M+ done in Q3 1998 then why the additional shipments worth $6M+ ordered in Q3. Is Astra and Janssen so stupid that they ordered $6M+ of inventory in Q4 1999 that they didn't need?

These are questions that someone needs to get answered. Someone needs to communicate with Vivus to get these answers and its not going to be VLAD anymore!

Andreas,

I'm going to give you the job now of calling Vivus and getting answers to these questions regarding international sales of MUSE in both Q1 and Q2.

Let's see just how easy it is for you to get a 1/2 straight answer from Nina.
