My post that touched on 'pending quote/contract activity' was carefully researched by checking with OEMs as well as known contracts out for bid. My research has been steadily validated. Most recently, on the 1998 Annual conference call, we heard management state that the Iridium follow-on contract was in fact in final stages. Good old fashioned research turned up the others, which have been all but verified through various channels (by this, I mean that VARL is either in the running or final stages of contract negotiation). Management has yet to make any comments or announcements of course. Please do not construe my post as information not available. Anyone who is willing to put in the effort to properly research a company and its industry can come up with similar results. VARL is potentially on the verge of becoming very successful. With a little patience I feel we will see them execute an entry into the subscriber market (this is the last of their goals stated in their IPO Prospectus – the others have all been accomplished). What are your thoughts on VARL?
