i plan on evaluating whether to sell as we near the earnings report, which i expect to be an absolute blowout. check growth in server and foreign sales. i expect us to be at 110 - 115 by earnings. and i expect, at that level, a split announcement with earnings. in that type of scenario, even though it is risky to hold over earnings, i might hold for the next day after earnings for the gap up (msft, aol) but this is a very risky approach.

reported on cnbc this morning. someone sold 1,000,000 cpq and bought 500,000 dell at the close yesterday. goldman sachs handled the trade. can you say smart money moving to dell??
