More reason to expect an HMK bounce:

U.S. OPTIONS/HA-LO calls well bid as stock slides
CHICAGO, Jan 28 (Reuters) - HA-LO Industries Inc. (NYSE:HMK - news) options drew above average volume in the calls as the stock lost about a third of its value after CS First Boston cut its rating on the stock, earnings estimates for 1998 and 1999 and 12-month share price target.

The stock was down 13-3/8 to 22-1/16 in late trading.

Implied volatility for the February 25 calls rose to around 98 percent, up sharply from last month's range between 43 and 55 percent.

''It looks like there are a lot of call buyers looking for the stock to bounce,'' an options trader said, noting that the calls were priced higher than the puts.
