It appears that GGNC could eventually be bought out by such a larger billion dollar Asian corporation assuming that the most recent PR is valid. Anyone else with opinions on this possibility.

The best news from the PR was a time frame for which this new venture will open. So in 60 days we will know if GGNC can follow through with one of there many plans.

I think these new plans will be great. The problem that crossed my mind with the Asian market is that I question if access to the internet is as available as it is in the United States. This will open a place for individuals to access the internet and gamble with GGNC.

Chuck,
I agree with you. My take on this is that this is a very significant step. The market place for this gaming industry is not just in the home. It is wherever people that would like to gamble gather. Also in many ways gambling can be a social event. I could see where the kids are playing at the water park and Dad's off gambling. I also believe that the Chinese population does not have as high a percentage of home based PCs as we have here and this may provide access to some who don't. In this vein, why reinvent the wheel. If this company already has many other business interests why not just piggy back on them. Hotels with gaming capabilities, why not?

The formal reporting, conversion to Japanese, and other deals seem to be just around the corner. I view this as a very good step.

As I continue to match GGNC against its competition, I am surprised we are still trading between $2-$3.00. Comparing the shares outstanding, GGNC is one of the few to demonstrate they have started to generate significant revenues(Dec >$5M), a sound marketing plan(velocity into the Asian market), an outstanding Web Site. I'm shrugging my shoulders.
