IDC numbers come out in full tomorrow...after the bell (I believe) IDC is quoted as saying Dell grew units 56% y-o-y in 4Q...certainly a very good figure, but it seems kind of low (the estimate)...Then again, they are October-December numbers, and Dell reports November-January... Yahoo bought Geocities, and Intel announced a 2-for-1 split...off to the races...late in the day, rumor has it that some large private investor sold a boatload of Compaq, and put his money in Dell! Enormous (CPQ) block trade crossed...I think over 1m shares... Dell popped an additional 2 the final 30 minutes.. Let's hope for more of the same tomorrow..Geez, that would give us triple digits!.....Don't spend all your new found wealth just yet...remember, there is a saving problem in this country!
