The peg works both ways....

But I wouldn't be too nervous about being pegged to UNPH shares... THey are 90% institutionally owned (dailystocks.com) and JDS has a very high institutional ownership too. THough becuase UNPH has a higher trading volume- the bias is towards them.

SHorts on both stocks will have to cover today- and there won't be terribly many sellers around...With Naz rolling along....we should get a nice lift.

Does this sound possible or even half way intelligent? Any experts out there who can shed some light on the matter so I can sleep soundly and count sheep rather than share values?

Chris ---

Your predictions were pretty accurate. I have nothing to add other than to say my H&Q broker indicated they'd be bringing out comments on the merger and suggested I might want to hold. I wasn't planning to sell, so it was an easy call.

I'm eager to read the rest of the posts to see what others are saying.

Later ---

Pat
