In regards, to using a CEM for manufacturing boards. I think they will find that they can actually do it cheaper, due to economy of scale. SCI has the largest Surface Mount Capacity in the world, and could turn on the machine in just a matter of days.

Michael, good observations about the other distribution channels. I'll add that STB may make their own motherboards as well and I'm not sure that this is included. Regardless, it shows that STB may need to operate at peak production levels to meet the TDFX only demand. As you said, this maximizes profits since more revenues come in to absorb the same fixed costs. Joe C.
