INSTANT VIEW -- US GDP grew at 5.6-pct rate in Q4

NEW YORK, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Following are comments from economists
after the Commerce Department reported U.S. Gross Domestic Product
(GDP) rose at a 5.6-percent annual pace in the fourth quarter after a
3.7-percent rate in the third quarter.

Economists polled by Reuters had projected, on average, a 4.4-percent
fourth-quarter rate of expansion.
