Tim, all. Before everybody gets suicidal about not owning the internet stocks, here's a cautionary tale. At a dinner party last Friday night, one of the guys started ranting about the complete idiocy of the internet stocks, their valuations, lack of profits, etc. etc. Toward the end of the evening he revealed that he had that Friday (1/22) shorted a shit load of EBAY. Monday it was +20, Tuesday +3, Wednesday +80. I have no idea where he got out but it couldn't have been pretty. I ain't long any of 'em myself but I sure as hell ain't short either. I find rocket science more than adequately exciting. :-) Mike Doyle

Tim: As of today, the advisory bullish percent is nearly 61% versus about 28% for the bears. Put/Call ratio is the highest in the decade of the 1990's, and of course the internet frenzy sits smack in the middle of this statistical storm warning. Anyone who isn't concerned ought to be, and the shame of it is that the implosion of the internets is going to take the entire market, including my satellite investment, down with it.
