For some reason ESV opened as the most active stock in the market with million+ volume.

Steve,

I think Merryl Lynch's guidance is coming from ESV. One of my sources at the company says they think they will lose about .19/share this year if things stay as is. This may change if a second half rebound in the oil patch turns true. Stock price may not go much lower due to their healthy balance sheet. They have a lot of cash.

Well, Merrill Lynch has new estimates out for ESV.
They have changed them from 1/29 to 2/1/99 reports.
You can get their reports free at their online site.

Amazing the brainpower involved to change your prediction of the future from -.25 loss to -.21 loss.

Simply amazing.
