Staff and wires

$6.30, up 85 cents
The on-line auction house has signed a deal to sell products made by D.G. Jewellery of
Canada Ltd. on its Internet site, and has unveiled plans to expand into Europe. The deal
with Toronto-based D.G. Jewellery allows Bid.Com to diversify beyond its current
offerings of computer and consumer electronics products. D.G. Jewellery shares rose 19
cents (U.S.) to $6.43 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Shares in Bid.Com, which changed
its name from Internet Liquidators International Inc. last summer, have soared from 56
cents (Canadian) in November, but they're down from $9.90 on Jan 12.
