DELL insiders are not as stupid as some DELL-heads :^)

Here is an excerpt from The INVESTools Advisory, January 25-29, 1999:

"9. Heavy Insider Selling at Relative Strength Leaders (DELL)
Tuesday, January 26, 1999

Many of the same high-flying stocks appear in the
recommended lists and model portfolios of many different
relative strength investing advisors. This overlapping
should come as no great surprise. Since relative strength
advisors aim to invest in the leading companies of fast
moving industries, it's natural for them to be investing in
the many of the same companies -- the leaders.

But many of these relative strength darlings are also
currently at the top of a list of stocks most heavily sold
by company insiders. The Vickers Insider Index rates each
company's insider movements, taking into account such
factors as buy/sell transactions, percent change of an
insider's holdings within a buy/sell, and unanimity among a
given company's insiders. Vickers then weights these factors
according to their relative importance. The ten stocks on
Vickers' latest "Least Liked" list are current relative
strength favorites (listed in order): Peco Energy (PE),
Amgen (AMGN), Dell Computer (DELL), Microsoft (MSFT), Qwest
Communications (QWST), Warner Lambert (WLA), Excite (XCIT),
Compuware (CPWR), Ann Taylor Stores (ANN) and Cisco Systems
(CSCO)."
