One thing to remember about Imation is they are not the drive producer. MKE and others build the drive. Imation is the media producer. Imation has been very aggressive in building a group of technology licensees.

Just fired up a Mobile Clik! and was happy to see that it is fast enough to play full motion video.

Well, you might be jumping to an incorrect conclusion there (at least if you are assuming 1 Superdisk -> -1 Zip). You can get an Imation Superdisk drive for about the same price as a floppy at a lot of places, so one might well be tempted to get one in a machine, whether or not you get a Zip. IMHO, people who only get the Superdisk may well just be postponing getting a Zip in their computer (intentionally or not), it'll have one eventually if they value speed and/or transportability. And this one will be retail ( = profitable sale).
