re: It's been a great run from 11. Time to lighten up, IMO.

Prudential lifts price target on LSI to $37 from $30 this morning. Earlier this week they raised the rating from hold to strong buy.

From the report:
Outlook and Valuation
LSI has definitely turned the corner and management is guiding for topline growth entering 1999. Demand is picking up, the corporate restructuring is a success, the capacity is available, and the product momentum and end-market focus is evident. At this early stage of the upturn in the semiconductor cycle, we believe LSI stock is a must-buy and should be a core holding for investors that want to play the recovery.
We are raising our price target for LSI to $37 from $30, based on a 22 multiple to our $1.70 2000 earnings estimate. This is very reasonable given the early stage of the semiconductor cycle and the fact that our $1.70 includes a $0.20 impact due to goodwill. We reiterate our Strong Buy rating on LSI.
