Hi All...Anyone else been following this story?
Subject 25226
Thread started on Monday...stock halted by SEC today! Didn't have the nerve to go short, and wonder about how anybody [longs & shorts] will recover lost investment $$ if CTRN remains in its present comatose condition.

Been mainly on the sidelines in muni bonds during the past month, but have an order in for 5k shares of Perot IPO that will be priced @ 14-16 and come to market by Tues. Will probably end up with a paltry 200 shares, which is the usual case when demand is too high like on this one.

Wanted to trade FLC this morning off the $7 bounce, but needed to keep the powder dry just in case I get my order for PER filled on Monday.

And...LT, you are one stubborn Texan! Glad to see that you continue to stir the pot around here, but hope that you haven't always been following your own advice. You've called more tops in the market than Slider's called bottoms in the OSX...an enviable achievement!! <ggg>

LT, there you go thinking again! To make money in this market, DO NOT THINK! Use no logic, have no conscience. Do not take a profit, and above all, forget fundamentals and all concepts of value and earnings.
That said, and paying no attention to P/E's, market overextention, and crumbling world economies, buy only DELL, MSFT, INTC, CSCO, AOL, EBAY,
NVLS.

Above all, do not touch the oil service sector. The world's energy use is decreasing. No oil well maintenance will ever be needed in the future. No existing oil rigs will ever be repaired, and of course no new oil rigs will ever be built. The oil patch stocks are all headed eventually to zero. Even though OSX stocks remain very profitable in this low oil price environment, we all know that oil is eventually going to $2 a barrel, or it may be that a year's worth of gas will be given away with any new ISP sign up.

Let's review: Ignore value, invest only in computer related stock, whenever asked about what some might think are crazy P/E's be sure to just say " Liquidity!". Also, no profit taking, and above all no sector rotation, because computers are the future of the world, nothing else matters.

There now, go and sin no more.

Mark
