I think I can handle this one. It is something I do frequently.

When you do something stupid, you take a 2X4 (block of wood) and repeatedly beat yourself upside the head. After several occasions of this type activity, you begin to think that maybe you ought not do the stupid thing in the first place so as to avoid being repeatedly beaten upside the head by a 2X4!

i have to laugh...Judy always says to me.."2X4's",( a 2x4 is a piece of lumber) meaning I'm hitting you on the head with a piece of wood...go buy the stock!!!!!!!
