For those who asked about IRC, here's a little info that may help get you started:

IRC is a way of chatting live on the internet. Basically, you use software to access it. Just like the chat rooms in AOL, there are thousands of topics and the audience is much wider since it's potentially all the people on the internet. There are a number of different "providers" that give access to the chat rooms and each one has their own unique group as well as some standard ones. #daytraders is on "Othernet" and can be accessed through any "othernet" server.

The software will automatically provide you with these choices. I think there is a nominal registration fee for the software of $20 and it's a one time fee. Accessing IRC is free.

Hope that helps! Good luck!
