The Space shuttle's main engines are fired at T-6.3 sec it takes that long for them to achieve full thrust (470,000+ Lbs x 3) at that point the solids are fired at around t-0.0, it takes them about a nano second to reach full trust (2 million lbs). The Q is just starting their engines now, when those solids kick in we might just go like some of those internet stocks (credit to Mquarkrice, I believe he's right on this one).
