Anil: On Merrill Lynch and online brokers,I think it will be easier for ML to buy an online broker rather than starting from scratch,it could be any one of the leading online brokers EGRP,AMTD or someone else.To start from scratch I think will be quite time consuming in the mean time the others might forge ahead leaving Merrill way behind. The advantages of buying includes a nice customer base along with the infrastructure. Just my thoughts who knows what they will do.
