ALK Vegas sorry to get back to you so late, but I am thinking about getting some kind of e-mail software to answer e-mail but I'm not sure the e-mail software 'bot' can read charts. Anyhow ALK happens to be one of my favorite airline stocks. I have much more luck holding it though than trading it. The airlines seem to move as a group (like the internets). but unlike the internets, good news won't move this group if the sector is not in favor nothing will help.

I don't have ALK's earnings date in front of me but I would play ALK when the sector as a whole was in favor.

I was only able to trade SKYW and CGO for a few days last week when they retreated only to return today and I got AMTR and FRNT. AMTR's great earnings suprise was met with a yawn until today. SO I do think that 55 is a good target as long as the entire sector play along. I'm a)hoping b)expecting (chose 1) for another good start for the sector next week.
