Bill looks like emc falls into the split category. Holding my breath till Monday opening.....The following lifted off Barons

Candidates for stock
splits include Cisco
Systems, Lucent
Technologies and
virtually any hot stock
with a price over
$100 a share.

Well, we can't all be right 100% of the time. I think you were on the right track. Hopefully, it was just your timing that was off and not the concept of a split.
