John, Re: They come up with useless things like the no-cache Celeron, the no-need-for-a-slot Slot 1 CeleronA, the useless chip ID and they fail to properly test their designs (FDIV bug, "flag" erratum, HALT bug, delayed Xeon 4-way, etc.).

Looks like AMD is equally as bad. They come up with K5 which
have only bad memories in anybody's mind, the K6 which never
really made a buck, the 3DNow which is useful in only one popular
game(to make it on par with Intel's product) and K6-3 which
looks to be great but has been delayed for over 6 months, the
Win95 cannot boot bug in high speed K6-2 etc.
