I agree with you completely regarding Bob Stempel. I have met, talked
with, and heard Bob on a number of occasions and he is indeed a world
class major league figure. His true capabilities will become self
evident as ECD's long overdue success accelerates. Everyone expected
Bob to to bring about immediate growth and profitability. Entirely too many people hold him accountable for the previous thirty-six years of losses ECD experienced (with the exception of a couple of windfall years) prior to joining us. What he has accomplished still has not fully impacted upon our bottom line. But it will. There is a great deal of activity going on that we are not privy to that is working for us. Simply knowing what to do and how to do it are not enough. You
must also have the money and/or the time to enable you to do it.

Does anyone really think that Ken Baker simply strolled over to ECD
on his own to apply for a job?

Do you think that Stempel may have played some part in attracting
Tyler Lowrey to our firm? How about Stan?

We now have Stempel, Lowrey and Baker, three world renowned figures
on our team. What would possess people of this stature to join such
a tiny little company, in business for thirty nine years, with record
losses still accumulating? Surely it was not for the salary paid by ECD. What do you think? Do you think they may have done their due-diligence prior to joining ECD? And to what degree? What would any person in their right mind do, let alone people of this stature?

Our problem to date has been that as a true visionary Stan's inventive mind has spewed out technologies that have been 20-30-40 years ahead of their time. Fortunately for us, time has finally caught up with us
and Stan's (along with his wife Iris and long-standing colleagues) technologies are coming into fruition at long last.

For those of you that may not be aware, less than five percent of all new products ever make it into market profitably. They simply don't have enough going for them. And I'm not talking about technologies that are bringing about major paradigm shifts in major industries such as ours. This is all but unheard of. That's how rare this feat is.

No one will argue the fact that it has taken longer to bring our
technologies to market than was anticipated. That's a fact. However,
our picture continues to get bigger and brighter for each of our
core technologies.

Does anyone question the viability of our NiMH battery technology?
How about our phase change technology? Thin film solar panels? And
now our memory technology?

There's a lot of new excitement in the air for us. It's simply a
matter of time before the institutions start to put some very important pieces together, such as, what has attracted Stempel, Lowrey and now Baker to ECD? What's going on here? This will not remain a secret for very long.

Now, for the past critics of Stan and his business acumen, has all of
this new activity simply happened on its own, or might have Stan played some part? If ever any person should make it into the Hall of Fame for bringing about a new major industry in this country it will
be Stan, as our technologies grow exponentially in the marketplace,
when all of us will finally be rewarded.

In my opinion, this will be a very exciting year, one that I have been looking forward to for a number of years.

Regards.
