John, we went through the mental gyrations of trying to calculate that 1 month difference last quarter. Remember? When DELL finally reported in November we realized that IDC had been right on the mark [they estimated 1.999 million and the actual was 2.008 million]. Based on my conversation with them IDC does take into consideration the 1 month difference. WE'll find out for sure in February but I don't know how Data Storage will impact units sold or ASP.

Regardless, if DELL's stock price approaches $120 by earnings period you're looking at a 2:1 split for sure. This should entice all those momentum investors over the next couple of weeks.

Best Regards, Gabriel
