Anyone else see the blurb on CNBC right now indicating that Compaq was actually gaining market share on Dell in worldwide computer sales?

Hummmm...

WHOA! Did you guys hear Faber??? He made a big point about marketshare change from Q3 to Q4 - CPQ goes from 14.4% to 15.6% and DELL drops to 8.5% from 9.2%. Faber said this could be a problem for DELL. Faber used the figures from the IDC report this morning - it's posted here somewhere. Good plug for CPQ!

I hear Dell's knees shaking. Finally a mention on CNBC that CPQ is gaining market share while Dell is slipping. :) Said it may be a problem for DELL!
