Whisper Numbers Hi John I'm new to the thread,but would like all to know that Maria Bartiromo wrote in a column for 'Ticker' magazine last summer that when Dell tanked 20% after last May's earnings because of 'not meeting their whisper number',she specifically cited the SI Dell Thread as a source for the whisper number!Ticker is a magazine for institutional investors(no URL available).It is a sister publication of 'Individual Investor'.She writes columns for both and is reported to be engaged to the CEO.I would suggest that earnings predictions be tempered by any who read this post for the sake of all.FWIW. My prediction=$0.10 :-)
