Well, subscriptions won't be free (ever), but if ever comes, it's not for a long time. BTW, AOL does have kind've a proprietary situation at work. Last time I looked you had to join to use their system.
I'd say AOL and YHOO are well positioned for the future. Overvalued? Possibly. But not by a hell of alot (at least not AOL). AOL, in particular, is seeing MONSTER ad revenue growth.
