Q3 and Q4 of CPQ and DELL.

I'm not sure to which numbers you are referring from
Q4 in 1997. PC's?

If you have those numbers of PC's Q4 97 vs Q4 98 for
CPQ only then you are correct in saying the numbers are off.
Q4 in 97 was booked...but really only to the channel, to
be sold to customers in Q2 and Q3 at the expense of less PC's
from CPQ.
Q4 98 was obviously more directly to the market.

If one has no relative basis, either to DELL or another company
or the total increase in all computer sales, then how do we
know that the CPQ absolute increase (Q497 over Q498) is good?
