No, you are not safe in making any of the assumptions that you are making. I suspect that it was impulsive, certainly not random but quite specific to the relationship and the moment. Moreover, nihil was quite clear that he was not hurt physically, implying that this was not an overpowering and brutalizing gesture--our usual image of rape.
