Would you attribute this to the short supply of shares?

Hi, Craig!
If you refer back to that piece I posted on MM tactics (post 937 on this thread), the retired MM says that MM's open the spread up to try to scare buyers off in order to try to cool a hot stock down. So yes, I think the huge spread is because there are so few shares available.

But I think I saw signs of the MM's throwing in the towel today on HTSF, as the ask went below the bid for a short while to allow the MM's to cover their shorts for end of month accounting. Then at 3:58, the bid/ask went to .75/.87, and another nine trades were posted AFTER the bell, eight buys and one a sell.

I'll have to chat with somebody who knows more than me to figure out what is really going on...but I think the signs are all bullish, so I am not going to worry too much about it!

Cheers!
Rick
