I took no prurient interest in the sex lives of my kids. I was glad to advise, but never wanted to pry. I think teenagers have a natural right to engage in any sexual activity they wish -- as sacred as any other right of privacy. I draw the line at about 8 years, but insist that every child I am responsible for receive a complete and unprejudiced education in sexual matters. When a 4 year old pestered me with unanswerable questions, I generally replied that babies came out of their mother's abdomens, the same way they got in.
