GG.....TNO/IPO Maybe the best play is for us to buy some TNO straddles that way we can both be right !! I have a rule on these back-door IPO's ..if the post IPO percentage per share is less than 25% then I'd rather not play the long side especially if the price of the parent stock is near the high for the year or over the price that the spin-off is likely to be 'priced' at by the underwriter.. but in the final analysis my actions on any situation are determined by the market action/mood going into one of these deals.
