"Finnish cellular telephone giant Nokia (NOKA) dropped 9 7/8 to 144 1/8 despite reporting a fourth-quarter profit of $1.17 a share and setting a two-for-one stock split. Wall Street had expected the company to earn $1.05. Lower gross profit margins spurred some investors to sell the shares."
