George, now where do you come up with $7 to $9? (a) Mac sales have been much higher than average; we already know this from both Apple and MZON comments. (b) MZON's PCZone was voted the best place to buy software on the net; software sales are up. (c) MZON announced a return to continue profitability this quarter. (d) MZON's sales were 75% Apple dependent prior to July 1998; when Apple sales fell, MZON's sales fell. (e) However, MZON now derives only 40% of sales from Apple products and that number is decreasing monthly with PC related product sales commanding an ever higher percentage of sales. (f) They've cut costs by closing offices in about 8 different countries; they serve 16 countries now. How many other net companies have offices in 16 different countries? (g) Educational sales (the Learning Zone), one of their strong points, have been improving quarter over quarter as education departments have switched from Apple base to PC base and MZON has been able to assist them now. (h) MZON uses "Account Executives" to promote sales; these executives daily call on different accounts to generate sales - other net companies are more dependent on someone logging onto the net and ringing their bell. (g) MZON had more sales than Amazon last year and better (improving) margins. (h) MZON has one of the few PC sales relationships with Amazon's Junglee. (i) MZON's third quarter internet based sales increased 73% sequentially and nearly 300% year over year. (j) They already stated in an interview that their internet sales during the holiday season were up; being loosely interpreted as "better than than the $13.4 million in the third quarter, and possibly 40% better sequentially". They just announced an e-commerce agreement with infospace worth (in their words) "worth millions." This statement from their third quarter press release sums it up <<"Lalji commented, "We are committed to be one of the premier web sites on
the Internet. To this end, we re-designed the web-pages on zones.com,
partnered with Digital River for ESD and created specialized vendor stores in
the third quarter. It is now easier and more intuitive for customers to
quickly access the products and prices they desire, from the more than
145,000 items offered.">>

The drop in share price, I think, and trust, is more a function of shareholders just giving up.

So, I re-entered a few trades at $15 on a speculative purchase. If it drops both you and I are fools and you're simply the better fool at guessing.
