Thanks for the heads up on the Vcall. Loved the part about only accepting Y2k business that will lead to additional future contracts.
Being in the employ of one of the true communications giants, the soon to be Jacor/Clear Channel, I can assure you that our business takes Y2k extremely seriously. This is reflected under the 'Year 2000 matters' in the 10Qs.
There is a fair amount of dated embedded chip technology in the field which still needs to be dealt with. Other areas of embedded and/or software concerns are traffic/accounting systems, satellite delivery programming, digital automation systems and internet service provider systems. All must be evaluated for Y2k compliance.
It's been a helluva week! Monday, I was looking for an exit point. I may still play with a percentage of my TAVA holdings, but I'm holding most of my shares for the looooong haul.
As for volume frustrations, recent actions have all the earmarks of subtle MM accumulation prior to earnings.

dear Kevin: Boy, sorry I didnt hear it first hand. Did they mention how many CONTRACT workers they have in addition to the 465 engineers? Can I assume the 70 people from Mangan are additional? JDN
