Hello!

I do know that purchases over the internet using a credit card are covered by the same rules as any other purchase using the same credit card in your local department store, supermarket et al.

I believe the only problem I've seen so far which has been slightly different is on eBay. There has been alot of rumors of fraud in this type of public auctioning of personal items.

In a tangent topic to e-commerce, you think Onsale's new move into selling NEW brand name products (computer stuff) at wholesale prices going to affect the other sites? How does CompUSA, NECX and the rest compete?

[Onsale makes a per-purchase fee for each tranaction plus advertising revenue to make up for the margins in traditional retailing].

Is there a thread on SI for e-commerce? (being lazy here....)
