bp,

I agree with woodside and actually found the meeting to be fairly positive as well. I don't think there was anything particularly negative beyond the one-time charge, and that's only an issue for those who don't know about it. Since we (the individual investor) are fairly low on the food chain, I'm 100% sure that all the institutions have been informed and will be reminded when it's coming time.

I'd say that we need to watch Camino. I heard the same rumor of a delay about 3 weeks ago but I didn't post it because it was 4th hand (the person presented it more as "I heard from someone who was visiting Intel that Intel is having technical problems with Camino") and we kept hearing about the acceleration of Rambus memory delivery. It didn't jive, so the person is trying to get more info. I wouldn't accord this feedback much credibility yet, but I didn't like seeing the posting on Tuesday or Wednesday about this rumor. We need to beat on Intel to get the story, but Tate made it sound like Intel is even more tight-lipped than himself.

Keep in mind that even if it is delayed, it's not a change to the overall story -- just a short delay. I particularly liked hearing today that the Rambus interface will be included on the processors. That absolutely locks out the competitive products. Big plus.
