I wouldn't worry too much about PSFT and SAP being very effective in the mid-size company market. In order to compete they will have to radically change their pricing models and they will need more human resources than they have available. If they change their pricing models or shift resources it will affect their core business in a very negative way. Its always VERY hard for companies that have played at the high end to move down, when they have a large existing customer base of big companies.
