VLAD: Perhaps I am way off the mark here, however this is my take as to why Vivus does not have a marketing partner to date. Astra/Zenaca is holding Vivus hostage! Without a strong European market Vivus is in serious trouble. It is possible the contract pre Viagra did not specify as to when Astra had to launch Muse, regardless of approvals. Therefore A/Z is waiting for merger and a favorable USA contract before committing their troops. We have all witnessed how Pfizer (big business) works. It's all about money and what can you do for me. Business is cruel and no prisoners are taken, A/Z has no compassion for Vivus, it's strictly business. Wilson is vulnerable and must be very cunning as to how he plays this hand using great diplomacy so as not to create animosity among their partners. If there is some logic to what I have stated, then the only possible partners could be A/Z or J&J, accepting an outside offer could be suicide to international sales.
